Editing an Existing CloudConnect Trace

When you choose to change the Agent of a trace that's already running, PingPlotter will reset and restart the trace. This means all past data will be cleared and the trace will be started from scratch. Make sure to export your data if it is important before changing Agents.

To change the Agent used for a trace, begin by opening the trace window for the trace you wish to adjust by clicking on the corresponding IP address located on the summary screen. After opening the trace window, pause the trace by selecting the yellow Pause button.

Important!

Changing Agents on traces directly from the summary screens is not available at this time.

With the trace paused, change the Agent by clicking the Agent dropdown at the top right of the screen and selecting the new Agent for the trace.

Once the new Agent selected, resume the trace by clicking the green Start button.
