In this page, we will demonstrate how someone could use an Alert for their PingPlotter CloudConnect workflow.
Additional options
Methods with a # mean you can edit the parameters within the quotations. You can also customize how line items show up by wrapping them in HTML header tags.
Variables
PingPlotter CloudConnect has many different objects you can use inside of the Message Template for the Send an Email alert action.
Each object is dynamic and can embed or attach data to an email when an alert condition is met. See below for the default example:

Below is a list of the types of event notifications that you can use for a PingPlotter CloudConnect alert.
When alert conditions start (enters alert state)
The first time alert conditions occur, the event will happen and won't be repeated while in the alert state. This is a popular use – as you find out about new conditions when they happen, but don't have to be bothered again. As soon as the alert condition stops being met, and then it starts again, this event will reoccur.

To get started, click on a trace row in the Summary View to select it. Or, you could also click on the target row in the Trace View.
